ANC 6B01 is the neighborhood immediately southeast of the U.S. Capitol Building.  Its boundaries run from East Capitol St. down to the Southeast Freeway overpass; and from South Capitol St. east to 3rd, 4th or 5th Streets.

The neighborhood is located entirely within the Capitol Hill Historic District.  The zip code is 20003.  Many homes and churches here date from the late 1800s.
